Even though the 2016 Gritting season is over for this year, it doesn’t mean there’s any rest for The Gritting Company. There’s a lot to do behind the scenes to make sure we’re ready for when ice, frost and snow make an appearance once again.
The Gritting Company have been very busy over the summer ensuring our vehicles are in the best condition for carrying out winter maintenance and snow clearance in Yorkshire and throughout the rest of the country. This year, we continue to expand the Gritting Company family with a number of new vehicles being added to the fold!
We continually review our Gritting technology and systems throughout the year to ensure we are always on top of our ‘gritting game’ and now, it’s time to do the same for our vehicles.
Currently, we have a variety of lorry-mounted Gritters, snowploughs and JCBs as well as other smaller equipment for the adverse weather and now, our winter maintenance fleet will be growing. We will be adding a number of new vehicles to our extensive gritting and snow clearance fleet.
We take pride in our state of the art Gritting fleet. Our range of vehicles are one of a kind, with their innovative technology and modern GPS systems. The new vehicle additions will allow us to complete a greater number of winter maintenance and snow clearance jobs throughout the whole of the UK with increased efficiency.
The new vehicles are currently getting The Gritting Company treatment! Once their factory build is complete then they will have thorough pre –work checks carried out by our talented in-house team of mechanical engineers. The engineers ensure that our gritting and snow clearance vehicles run smoothly and without any hitches when carrying out winter maintenance. They even keep our older Gritting vehicles looking brand new!
Once our Maintenance Team has given them the “all clear” then, they are going to be liveried up with our eye-catching graphics and signature colours. You may spot them around the UK, as they’re going to be dotted across the Country carrying out lots of Winter Maintenance come October.
